Day 1 (February 22, 2023)

Let the adventure begin!

My journey began with a transfer in Doha (the capital of Qatar). I spent nine hours at the airport there. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to go out, but since I’ll be here on my way home and spend here two days, I’ll be able to make up for the sightseeing.

The airport itself is quite big, full of luxurious shops next to each other, safe and incredibly clean [e.g. at the washroom when you’re done, a person immediately goes in to clean (he even adjusts the paper to make it nice)].

It’s not a cheap fun, but they thought of everyone („not only the top 1000”) — they also placed fast food stands next to the restaurants, so everybody can eat (for a little more than the usual price).

The flight itself was very pleasant. Qatar Airlines did an excellent job. I traveled with them for the first time, but they are definitely among the top airlines on my list. Lovely staff who served us non-stop and delivered snacks, drinks, food (which were also delicious).

A big ”Thank You!” to them!
